New Mexico Young Actors, Inc, $2,333
To provide 1,200 school children free admission to their presentations at the KiMo Theatre.
Explora, $10,000
For the Youth Intern Program, an education and mentoring program in science, art, mathematics and technology staffed primarily by high school students in grades 10-12 who qualify for the free or reduced lunch program.
Working Classroom, $7,999
For the expansion of Working Classroom’s bilingual, multicultural arts & education program serving low-income and minority middle and high school students.
Keshet Dance Company, $4,333
To expand their arts programming for homeless youth in conjunction with the Title 1 Homeless Project.
Amigos Bravos, $3,333
To help fund the Acequia (community irrigation ditches) Monitoring Outreach and Restoration Project that trains students in water sampling procedures and analysis, and gives them the opportunity to work on solutions with relevant agencies or political entities.
PB&J Family Services, $4,000
For the Kid PACT program that seeks to break the intergenerational cycle of crime working with children with incarcerated parents.
Cuidando Los Ninos, $4,000
To assist homeless families by helping them setting individual family goals to improve their life skills and parenting skills.

For general operating support to continue to provide expressive arts programs for homeless children ages four to 16.

To help pay for artists’ teaching fees, curriculum development and evaluation, and ongoing professional development for artists who teach music and dance to disadvantaged kids.

For continued support of the Teen Environmental Action Mentorship (TEAM) program, a year-long leadership training offered at no charge to underserved ethnically and economically diverse high school students.

To support Measure Up, an evaluation and needs assessment capacity-building project intended to strengthen the organization.

To match a grant by the California Arts Council for the DANCE OUT! outreach program. .

To conduct a two-week Photo Therapy summer program for 10 students in 8th, 9th and 10th grades who are in their Drop Out Prevention Program.
