LFF Announces 2025 Wellness Grant Recipients

The Lumpkin Family Foundation’s newest grant program, Wellness Grants for Leaders + Frontline Workers, recently awarded 8 wellness grants and 4 sabbatical leave grants, totaling $59,400.

Land, Health, Community-Chicago grantee, Farmworker and Landscaper Advocacy Project (FLAP), received $2,500 to host a one-day staff wellness retreat, including a group boat ride at Navy Pier in Chicago. The retreat was designed to promote mental wellness, strengthen team cohesion, and provide much-needed rest for staff who work directly with vulnerable low-wage immigrant communities across Illinois.

The Wellness grant program is open to any LFF grantee who received funding from the Foundation within the last 3 years. Preference is be given to organizations with budgets of less than $1 Million dollars that have not previously received a Wellness Grant from the Lumpkin Family Foundation.
