LFF Announces Resilience Fund Grants

LFF distributed a total of $222,971 in resilience funding from September–November 2025

After listening to grantee concerns in early 2025, The Lumpkin Family Foundation (LFF) formed the Resilience Fund as a temporary grantmaking program created to support recent nonprofit grantee organizations that faced urgent, destabilizing challenges resulting from federal policy changes and the abrupt loss of public funding—especially as they impacted rural and marginalized communities.

Eighteen LFF grantees received grants of varying sizes according to their needs, for a total of $222,971 distributed in three funding cycles from September–November 2025.

Allowable uses for this organizational resilience and capacity support program included:

  • Legal, communications, or strategy consulting
  • Scenario planning or restructuring
  • Human resources or leadership coaching
  • Mental health or wellness support
  • Cybersecurity or enhanced office safety measures
